Chevron Corp. and Exxon Mobile Corp., in partnership with Toyota Motor Corp., are testing renewable gasoline blends they say could reduce conventional automobile emissions to levels on par with electric vehicles.
The blends, which are partially made from soybeans and other non-fossil feedstocks, could be used by the existing U.S. car fleet.
