Addison, IL – December 11, 2012 – Source™ North America Corporation, the largest fueling equipment distributor in North America, is pleased to announce that it is now assembling curb pump dispensing hoses at its facility located in Addison, IL, under UL 330 approval and ULc approval. UL 330 guidelines take effect as of January 1, 2013, and require the use of approved flammable liquid hose assemblies, which consist of flexible hose and fittings suitable for attachment to flammable liquid dispensing equipment.
Curb pump hoses have been specifically designed for conventional dispensing applications that require a hardwall construction for full flow and no internal spring guards, making them ideal for use with gasoline, diesel, ethanol up to E10 and biodiesel up to B5. Featuring a wire-braid construction, curb pump hose assemblies from Source provide excellent kink resistance, low computer creep and a long service life. Source hose assemblies are available in the following sizes: 5/8” and 3/4” I.D. hose with swivel; 5/8” and 3/4” with non-swivel 3/4” ends; and 1” I.D. hose with non-swivel 1” ends. Standard hose lengths are available, from 8’ to 17’ with whiphoses from 8” to 12” sizes.
“Source is a premier distributor of all types of hoses in North America, and as such, we see tremendous value for our customers in bringing accessibility to conventional hoses to everyone in the country. Further, our conventional hoses will be critical as Stage II fueling components are decommissioned in various regions over the next few years,” said Mike Palazzo, COO. “This is just another example of showing Source’s commitment to being a marketer’s sole source for all their equipment needs, providing customers with what they want, when they want it.”
