Year-round E15 has taken some significant steps forward.
Congress reintroduced the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act in February. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will uphold the current April 28, 2025, implementation date for the fuel in 8 Midwestern states.
Amid concerns of fuel supply constraints, the EPA allowed states to request a one-year implementation delay. The EPA granted delays to Ohio and South Dakota.
